La Carreta in the Media

TV Diner Review

(TV Diner) – We stepped right into “Down Old Mexico Way”– all the way at La Carreta in its pure earthy décor highlighted with terra cotta and cactus. A large bar offered up a great selection of drinks to complement the lengthy traditional menu.

After whetting our appetite with the homemade chips and sharp tomato salsa served in a small carafe, we went for the assorted Botana Grande. Melty cheese blanketed crispy nachos. Fried taquitos solidly packed full-flavored smoky beef in every crackly bite and hot red sauce painted plump chicken wings. Crispy quarters of cheese quesadilla framed smooth savory guacamole and fresh sour cream. A Perfecto Platter!

The Daily Lunch

La Carreta used to be a favorite of mine when I worked in Nashua and I try to stop by when I’m in the area. They do “Mexican” food really well without trying to pretend to be something they are not. Tex Mex done well and with very consistent quality and with a friendly and speedy staff, every visit is a pleasure. Read More

Nashua Patch

I never cared about Mexican food until I went to La Carreta’s with a friend. Now it’s one of my favorite places to eat. Just look at the lines and a place to park! That should tell you how good it is!!!! Trust me… it’s worth the fight for a place to park.
